Aspiring Game Designer
I'm Ken Munk, a student with aspirations to combine a business degree, computer science degree, and digital media skills into a fulfilling career in game development. As a person, I don't just seek to simply apply skills towards a single dimensional goal, I seek to learn/take new skills and apply them towards my own ability. There is a price for any harvest, and in return for the skills taken or learned, I seek to give back to the teams I am a part of.

Deli, Clerk, then Bookkeeper
Started my experience with Safeway in the Deli and quickly bounced to the bookkeeping office with my college accounting class experience. From the bookkeeping I bounced around a little while I was following the money and eventually left abruptly with a sudden move from Oregon to California. I did not seek a transfer so that I could focus on a new career path.
Open Ended Research Project
Initial introduction to CAD and Maya 3D
Led a small project team in researching cross section designs for helicopter rotors. Used 3D modeling via CAD and Maya 3D to model rotor blades for 3D printing.
Control systems for piloting
Managed a small team to achieve objectives towards the goal of building award winning robots in state competitions. Some 3D modeling was used, although my position was mostly in team management, programming and engineering. My personal favorite achievement was programming the controls to allow what would be a 2 man driver team to become a one man pilot team with a spotter.
